Project Name: Chinquapin Story Quilt

Description: Students will decide on themes for the quilt, design and execute panels, visit the International Quilt Show (if possible -- it's Oct. 30-Nov. 2) or another quilt show, and "quilt" together as a community. The quilt will be prepared for display. The final product can incorporate other media, such as photography. In addition, participants will be encouraged to share their experiences with others (online or as part of a presentation). A photo-story based on the quilting process will be recorded.

Staff: Susan? Sandy? (I am submitting this as a back-up because there seemed to be student interest. I am happy for someone to take it over if there is other interest. Please note the upcoming International Quilt Show on Halloween weekend, which could be very useful for planners and students who are interested. Sandy and I went last year -- it was amazing!)
